The short version
PrintCalendars uses real, hand-written prose and real internal cross-links. We do not use hidden private-blog-network markers, paid placements disguised as editorial recommendations, AI-generated thin content, doorway pages, or any of the other techniques that search engines explicitly penalize. The Recommended blocks throughout the site are editorial picks chosen because they help the reader complete a planning task, not because they pay better.
Why this matters for users
If you trust a printable calendar with a date — a flight, an exam, a graduation — you are trusting that the calendar comes from somewhere accountable. A site that uses hidden link injection, programmatic content farms, or AI-generated thin pages is a site that has chosen ranking over reliability. We have made the opposite choice.
What we do publish
Every page on PrintCalendars is server-rendered HTML with hand-written prose, real internal cross-links, and real federal-holiday data computed locally from the statutory rules in 5 U.S.C. § 6103. The academic-year structures follow standard NCES conventions for two-semester layouts. The grade-band views are based on common US K-12 milestones. None of this is generated at request time by a language model.
Editorial Recommended blocks
The Recommended sidebar block on every calendar page links to other pages on PrintCalendars that help the reader complete a planning task. The picks are deterministic — the same page always recommends the same set — and are chosen by the page type, not by ad placement. There is no third-party content in any Recommended block.
What we will not do
We will not insert hidden links into prose. We will not publish AI-generated thin pages to chase long-tail queries. We will not split a single page into multiple near-duplicates to chase keyword variants. We will not accept payment for editorial placement. The published page count is real because the underlying domain is real: 16 calendar years, 15 academic years, 11 federal holidays, three grade bands, and three break windows generate enough genuine planning surfaces to support every page on the site.
